Kokanee has always been
a joy to live with. She's been healthy, sound, and a true "easy
keeper" her whole life. Never in a bad mood, always smiling and
ready to cuddle or go for a romp in the woods, she's friends with
everyone she meets. She took to pulling her cart like a fish to
water (and why not, she's from the Painted Mountain "Fish"
litter!) and impressed all onlookers all by showing an
incredible natural herding ability during her first run with sheep.
Her conformation strengths are her wonderful balance, substance and
"drafty" type, solid topline and terrific front assembly - with a
prosternum to die for! On top of all that she has a beautiful head
and expression - even in those rare moments when her face isn't in
its usual "Swissy Smile." Kokanee has attracted the attention of
noted AKC Judge Mrs. Judith Goodin (Ms. Goodin has judged the
working group at both Westminster and the Eukanuba Classic), who
awarded her "Best of Winners" at a prestigious Specialty show, and
Best of Breed over Specials - and commented "I've met a Swissy I
would like to take home!"

Klaus is a loveable
goofball of a boy, once you get to know him. At first he can be
aloof to strangers - true to his Swissy heritage. But once he knows
you, he's playful, full of inquisitive looks and invites to play.
He's stunning to look at, as he's large, darkly pigmented and has a
striking presence. He's amazingly athletic for his size, as a Swissy
should be, and his movement can't truly be appreciated unless you
see him stretch out in his effortless, ground covering gait. Most
show rings are simply too small for this big boy to "let it all hang
out."
Klaus' conformation strengths are many, but highlights are his
gorgeous neck and topline, size and substance, balance and correct
angulation. His head is large and striking - "all boy." But beauty
is more than skin deep, and his hips were rated "Excellent" by OFA -
as were his dam, sire, grand sire, and great-grand sire's. Judges
have recognized his attributes, and with limited showing Klaus was
awarded the GSMDCA Certificate of Achievement as the "# 1 Bred By
Exhibitor Dog" and is currently ranked in the top 5, with multiple
"Best of Breeds," and Group 1st, 2nd & 4th placements under
his collar! There's much more to come, as he's only two years old
and just getting started!
