Welcome to Swift Water Swiss Mountain Dogs, and thank you for visiting.

We are located in Cle Elum, Washington, a small town with a population under 2,000 nestled in the pine-forested eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range. The name "Cle Elum" is roughly translated from the Native Kittitas Indian language and means "Swift Water," an apt description considering the numerous fast flowing rivers and creeks that traverse the area. The hills, the trails, the water and the winter snowfall make Cle Elum Mountain Dog heaven!

This site is a work in progress, and is dedicated to my beloved Magnus (aka CH Alki's Magnus Espressos Himself HCT, TT) and the journey traveled from his disastrous injury, diagnosis and hospitalization; through his surgeries and complications, his miraculous rehabilitation & recovery; his year and a half of "extra life" and finally to his passing.  I am hoping that as more information is posted, it will be as educational to those who visit this site as it has been for me. Please check back often for updates.

Thank you again and I hope you enjoy your look around. Please feel free to contact me for more information, as it is my greatest hope that what we have learned will be of some benefit to others.
